Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Services. Some apps may present an in-app privacy notice for a specific feature. If an in-app notice conflicts with this policy, the in-app notice controls for that feature.
Information we collect
We collect information depending on the specific app and the features you use.
Information you provide
- Account information (if an app supports accounts), such as name, username, email address, and profile details
- User content you create, upload, or store through the Services (for example text, files, images, audio)
- Support communications (for example messages you send to customer support, bug reports, or feedback)
Information collected automatically
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and time zone
- Usage information, such as features used, interaction events, and in-app activity
- Log and diagnostics information, such as crash reports, performance data, and error logs
Information from third parties (only if you choose to connect them)
If you sign in through or connect a third-party service (for example an identity provider), we may receive limited information from that provider (for example a unique identifier and basic profile information), depending on your settings with the third party.
Permissions and sensor access (feature-based)
Some features may request access to device permissions (for example camera, microphone, photos/media/files, location, Bluetooth, or notifications). We request permissions in context and only when needed to provide the feature. You can manage permissions in your device settings.
How we use information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Services, including maintaining core functionality and saving preferences
- To maintain and improve performance and reliability, including debugging, crash analysis, and service monitoring
- To communicate with you, including responding to support requests and sending important service or security notices
- To protect the Services, including detecting fraud, preventing abuse, and enforcing applicable terms and policies
- To comply with legal obligations and to protect rights, safety, and security
How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information as follows:
Service providers
We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that process information on our behalf (for example hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tooling). They are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide services to us.
Third-party services you choose
If you connect or use a third-party integration through a feature, we may disclose information as directed by you and as necessary to provide that integration.
Legal, safety, and rights
We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process, enforce policies, protect the security or integrity of the Services, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users, Quintilon, or others.
Business transfers
If Quintilon is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance).
Deletion and account controls
- If an app supports accounts, it may provide an in-app option to delete the account and associated data.
- If an app does not support accounts, you may still request deletion of certain information by contacting us at privacy [at] kipisa [dot] com, subject to legal and security requirements.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps designed to protect information as required by applicable law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your information, or to withdraw consent when processing is based on consent. You may exercise these rights by contacting privacy [at] kipisa [dot] com.
You can also manage certain information through:
- Device settings (for example permissions such as location, camera, microphone, notifications)
- In-app settings where available (for example privacy controls specific to an app)
Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law), unless a specific app states otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact privacy [at] kipisa [dot] com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Services.
